⏰Countdown to November 5

Dear Reader,

With only four months to go until election day, it's time to make some plans. It's important that everyone is involved and we wanted to give people the top three things you can do to effect change in the short amount of time we have left.

Top Three Action Goals

  1. Assess your local races to make sure you have candidates in all offices such as commissioner, state board of education, mayor, city council, etc.
  2. Decided which candidates you are supporting. The Bernie Moreno and President Donald Trump campaigns can use all the help they can get. Perhaps even more importantly, your local candidates need you.
  3. Make a plan to work the polls or watch the polls. The more of us in the election space, the better. When you work the polls you can also watch what is going on. Poll Watchers exclusively watch the polls and have specific duties and access.
If you are working the polls, your county will train and place you. We think the more you know the more effective you are, so we are offering free resource to help you know the way Ohio elections are supposed to be run. You can find everything you need here.
If you would like to watch the polls, the GOP will place you. We have been in contact with Logan, the director of the, RNC Ohio Election Integrity State Director, about their plans for the Ohio election. We shared with him our concerns and are hopeful there will be follow through if there are problems. Since we need a placing entity, it's a good idea to work through them for poll watching. However, we also have a election reporting form that can also be used to report problems. You can find everything you need to watch the polls here.
Sometimes presence can be a deterrent in and of itself so we encourage everyone that is concerned about our elections to work or watch the polls.

If you have any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out. We will do our best to update you if new information becomes available!

Wishing you the best,

Patriots in Ohio
